Here in Luzon, or even the entire country, Zambales is known
for the bountiful harvest of sweet and sumptuous MANGOES. Every year we celebrate a festival featuring
the mangoes.
The 12th ZAMBALES MANGO FESTIVAL was celebrated
on March 2012 and luckily I had the chance to participate in the said
event. Every town in the province was
invited to join a “themed float” contest.Every town boasted their entries in beautifully decorated display carts. INDIGENOUS materials were used as for the theme of the festival.
The Municipality of San Antonio has been very benevolent to choose me as
the ESCORT to the float MUSE for the parade presenting the floats. I enjoyed the parade very much like a CELEBRITY CAVALCADE around the whole town of Iba Zambales! LOL
This year I think I might wanna watch the 14th MANGO FESTIVAL with my friends! And eat a lot of ripe mangoes!
