AWESOME CAPONES LIGHTHOUSE ISLAND

CAPONES ISLAND LIGHTHOUSE

This Island is a historical property of the San Antonio Town and is situated at the coast of Brgy. Pundaquit. It has a lighthouse up the hill that was first lit on August 1, 1890!!! It was used to guide international vessels from the North and Northeast towards the Subic Shipyards. Now it is solar powered.

Me and my friends has decided to ride the waves and visit the Island, at that time, we were the only people on the island... we thought that it would be as easy as 1..2..3.. and yeabah! we ended up with DRY MOUTH, BURNED SKIN, and  FRIZZY HAIR due to the fact that WE ARE SO BRILLIANT AND SMART (AS WE THOUGHT WE CAN REACH THE LIGHTHOUSE JUST BY WALKING....AND WALKING... AND WALKING...) we never thought that we should be looking for some signage .... and we got lost! hahaha! But with our kindled spirits we still pushed ( I PUSH MO YAN TEH -greta) ourselves trying to find the way up to the lighthouse!

Then Finally!...

Tiresome but it was all worth it! Reaching the lighthouse was indeed a spectacular moment! As if we were on top of the world! The sight was so beautiful! I would be going back there because of the serenity that we felt with nature!
