ANAWANGIN - YOU'LL SURELY COME BACK

Having an "Ate" with boat rent and island hopping services, is truly a treat! Haha!

We went back to ANAWANGIN COVE one sunny Sunday Morning, as usual going there is a blast! Passing by great stone formations in the middle of the ocean, surrounded by clear blue waters.  We went back to keep my Aunt's boredom away! Haha!

                           

                           

We arrived at exactly 8am at the island and the next thing we did was to set up a table for the BINGO game we are planning to play after lunch when the scorching sun keeps everybody away from the hot sands of the beach.

                             

After setting up our game-table, we had a dip in the water and took pictures of the cove, it was very astonishing! Its too early for summer vacation thats why there are only few people in the island, it feels like we own the whole island! We are able to go in and out of the forested parts and trek up the hill to take more scenery photos. We went snorkeling at the crystal clear waters covering the rich and teaming coral reefs just meters away from the shore. Mind blowing it is!

I liked to make my nephew my subject for photography that day so I tried calming him up of his unbehaved hyper state of chilhood -and SO I FAILED. Hahaha! I told him to sit and pose beside the native store signage but then his concentration went up to something more delightful to him - He insisted to buy some junkees instead and not pose for me. Lol good thing i had a lot of patience in my bag hahaha!

                          

We cooked rice and grilled fish and pork using coal and pieces of dried branches which feels like an authentic camping (or should i say THEY - for i did nothing but eat haha).  After eating, its BINGO TIME! Yeah its fun!  "SA LETRANG B -BUNTIS!" We had a couple of rounds and I NEVER WON even ONCE! Haha! I think its not my lucky day that time. Lol.

                 

We went home before dusk and witnessed the sunset at the beach that never fails to amaze everyone. I'll surely go back to ANAWANGIN on summer!

CAMAYAN

The cool breeze is slowly getting warmer as the SUMMER season enters the pacific hemisphere.  It is the season most enjoyed by everyone, lets welcome summer at CAMAYAN BEACH RESORT HOTEL!

Well, I don't want to false advertise on everything but for me, and for my friends, CAMAYAN is one of the best resto-bar-resort to enjoy your summer!

Its very easy to get there! From SBMA Ayala Malls Habour Point, there is a dedicated FREE SHUTTLE with a drive time of 15 minutes, a ride through the rich and teeming wildlife of SUBIC BAY!  You see! Getting there is also a treat!

 We arrived at around 2pm, and all the attendants, guards etc were all very warm welcoming us!

Entering the resort gives you a feeling of delight on how lots of activities can you spend your summer! But the firt thing we did was EAT ! at the THE REEF RESTO BAR! They cook good food from seafood to island juices! The fresh coco water was the best!

There are KAYAKs, BIKING, WATER FIGHT SPORT, SNORKLING, DEEP DIVING, VOLLEYBALL NETS, and FRISBEE! I swear you would not know what and where to start! EXCITEMENT!

Uhmm I forgot that if ever you'd wanna swim but you have no swim-ready clothes, they have a souvenir store which sells swimming garments also.

 

All in all it was a great adventure with my friends! I shall and will return to CAMAYAN!

SISTERS 4EVER

Isn't the TITLE TOO GAY? lol

Getting into the talking point... My AUNTS from different regions of the Philippines came here in Zambales to REUNITE with my MOM. At long last! After decades they've seen each other again.  They came here to celebrate NEW YEAR's EVE together.  How touching it is to see them almost teary eyed seeing each other like it was the first and the last time. They hugged and kissed each other showing how they've missed one another. OHMAGAAAAD its like a TELENOVELA/MAALAALA MO PA BA SERIES LOL.

They were aunt EDNA (from BASILAN), aunt LINDA (from ILOCOS) and aunt AMY (from CAVITE) and my loving mom TESS (ZAMBALES). They all came from SAMAR where they have spent their childhood till they met our fathers from different regions in the Philippines... That's the story on how they kinda drifted away from each other. (I wish I had the time to tell you all their inspiring stories but that would like take forever and might bore you guys lol).

Indeed it was the HAPPIEST MEDIA NOCHE for the four of them altogether again. They were like young teen girls bullying and mocking each other after eating the midnight food that each of them prepared for new year. They sang all night long with their favorite songs. A VERY JOYOUS MOMENT IT WAS!

Then a day after January 1, we went to a beach/pool resort at BARANGAY PUNDAQUIT SAN ANTONIO ZAMBALES - we have chosen VILLA JANELLA RESORT for it was not only ONE OF
THE BEST AFFORDABLE RESORTS but also they have a very welcoming attitude towards guests.

We spent the day swimming, eating, picture taking and all sorts of fun stuff that we can don the resort.
